Camp Cuisine - Meal Inspo For The Trail

Move over 2 minute noodles, camp cooking just got a whole lot more interesting.

Camp Cuisine is a series from Zorali, bringing you healthy, simple cooking inspiration for your next Journey.

This week we hit the trail on a 3 day hike. Packing space was limited so our meals had to be easy, healthy and light weight!

Below you will find a step by step recipe for: Chilli rice with veggies and tofu

Ingredients:

  • Carrots

  • Broccolini

  • Marinated tofu

  • Chilli Rice - pre cooked

Serves 2

TIP: Pre-cut your veggies at home and seal in an airtight container or bag.

Method:

You will need a gas burner, lighter, 3 lightweight camp pots/pans, Zorali Sporks.

  1. Start with boiling water in medium pot. Add veggies and cook until tender. Set aside.

  2. In another pot heat rice with a small amount of water in the bottom to prevent the base burning. Set aside

  3. Cube tofu and fry in a pan for 2 minutes.

  4. Mix rice and veggies together and top with tofu. Enjoy!
